Its easy to use, doesn't need a cap and I can carry it along with my keys. A cons is that its not that fast, large files takes forever to transfer.
I used the device a little over a year for word documents and transferring files between computers. It should be covered by the 5 year warranty with Kingston, but I lost valuable data. However, I noticed it started getting a lot of errors on my new Windows 7 notebook, and eventually it crashed during a word document save. After that, it became unrecognizable to PCs and Macs. I own 4 different flash drives, and this is the first to die on me. I would not recommend this product.
I Like Kingston and Sandisk Brands , Pretty Good Quality , and Good Capacity , But now I Like More 16 GB
I purchased this product to replace an aging USB flash drive that I use with my Ubuntu Linux desktop computers. This product arrived sooner than the projected arrival date and worked perfectly in my Ubuntu 9.04 and Ubuntu 9.10 systems. The Kingston DataTraveler was recognized upon plugging it into my computer and I transferred 1.2GB to it without any problems. I recommend this product to anyone needing this type of device.
I have used Kingston product before and have had nothing but good experiences. As a result, we lost a lot of pictures as we were tranferring from one laptop to another. I tried a cheaper flash drive to save some money but it fell apart. A replacement worked better but for some reason it wouldn't save folders correctly. I will stick with Kingston from now on. It is very fast and holds a lot of data.
